Thank you Senators Murray and Cantwell

Today Senator Maria Cantwell became the 35th Senator to sign the letter in support of the Public Option through reconcilialtion. Senator Patty Murray signed the letter earlier.  We are proud of their willingness to listen to their constituents and appreciate their taking a public stand on the Public Option.

Registration for Camp Wellstone Now Open

Camp Wellstone has announced campaign training for Seattle from April 30 - May 2.  You can register for one of the several tracks by going to their website:  http://wellstone.org/training-calendar/camp-wellstone-seattle-0


Camp Wellstone is divided into three tracks:



  • Activist track:  For people interested in citizen lobbying, issue advocacy, and community organizing, this track provides skills in how to win on issues.

  • Campaign track: This track focuses on how to be an effective staff or volunteer member of a winning progressive campaign.

  • Candidate track: This is for people who have made the decision to run for office.
